Capturing a Mood

Portugal

I recently went on a holiday in Portugal with my wife’s family. We stayed in a lovely villa in the hills of the Algarve. I rarely ever just do holiday snaps and I decided to try and capture some mood of the place. I started with the villa, then moved to the area around the villa, finally a couple of places we visited. I only brought my Zuiko 135m f2.8 lens on my Fuji GFX 50s ii. I shot most of these in Classic Chrome. This is me experimenting with film simulations. Classic Chrome seemed to fit the timelessness of the place.

We visited Sagres where the Atlantic coast meets the Southern Coast.

And finally Silves with a Moorish fort.
