Using Local and Smaller Vendors
A popular topic these days (hat-tip ) is to use local vendors vs large box stores Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. I cancelled my Prime subscription about 3 years ago and that puts smaller online vendors on a level playing field. Recently I have made some photography equipment purchases and I wanted to give a shout out to Glazer’s Camera of Seattle. I wanted to shop as locally as possible and in terms of traditional camera stores they are almost completely gone in smaller towns. So my search lead to Glazer’s. I have made a number of orders and they are shipped promptly with reasonable shipping prices. From their website they look like an amazing store which I intend to visit in person the next time I am staying in the Seattle area.
For now I am happy that my profits are being used more directly in a local community and am happy to recommend them to those in the Northwest.
