Evening Photos

I went out to the lake edge in the city this evening as the sun was setting. I didn’t have anything in mind but there were some clouds and who knows… so much can depend on serendipity… at least that is how I find it.

I have not been photographing regularly for a while and it felt good to get the tripod out on a soft warm summer evening overlooking the water.

Blue hour revealed the Cabinet Mountains across the lake. This in 65:24 aspect ratio.

Nicest were soft feathery cirrus clouds. Shot black and white with red filter film simulation revealed some lovely forms.
